I am a Post-Masters Fellow at FairSky Foundation after graduating from the University of Michigan with a Master of Social Work degree.
I believe therapeutic relationships are built on collaboration, trust, humility, and approaching situations nonjudgmentally. Every person is the expert of their own lives, and I enjoy learning what makes people who they are. I understand everyone has unique experiences, strengths, and challenges, and I aim to work together with every client to create individualized treatment plans that fit their therapeutic goals.
Prior to joining FairSky, I worked with adolescents and adults in group, outpatient, and inpatient settings. I believe in the use of evidence-based practices, including being mindful of client’s goals and values while using interventions that are backed by research. I primarily work with individuals experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relational stress, and life transitions. Techniques I incorporate often include aspects of Motivational Interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness.
