Training Goals

At the successful completion of a FairSky practicum and/or internship, the clinical student will be prepared in the fundamentals of clinical skills and knowledge to begin intermediate training at a post-Master’s and Post Doctoral training site.

The ultimate goal for training-clinicians at FairSky is for each to be prepared to skillfully work in an individual private practice, a professional group practice, or a community-based practice, as well as to begin practice & training in hospital or school-based establishments. We are committed to supporting each practicum student, intern, fellow or fully licensed clinician explore, discover, develop and realize their unique clinical perspectives, and to help each articulate and support that perspective, respectively. Professional trainees at FairSky will also learn how to integrate pro-social advocacy efforts through our diverse learning opportunities. Advocacy skill development areas include interdisciplinary care coordination, community resourcing & connection, and feedback & evaluation integration for client-centered services
