I believe therapy can be useful in many ways, not only when something feels wrong. Sometimes we are trying to make sense of painful or overwhelming experiences. Other times we are curious about ourselves, our relationships, the patterns we keep finding ourselves in, or what we want to change. Life can be complicated, messy, funny, painful, and meaningful, sometimes all at once, and I believe therapy should have room for all of it.

I bring both professional training and a wide range of lived experiences related to mental health, trauma, relationships, and overlapping identities. Those experiences have shaped my appreciation for how personal and complex our stories can be, while also reminding me not to assume that anyone else’s experience looks like mine. I want to understand what your experiences and identities mean to you.

I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and take an integrative approach that considers how our thoughts, emotions, relationships, bodies, histories, identities, and environments connect. I don’t believe there is one right way to do therapy, so I like to work together to find an approach that fits your needs.

I am currently completing my Master of Social Work at the University of Michigan and practicing as an MSW intern at FairSky Foundation, where I receive ongoing clinical supervision. Above all, I hope therapy feels like a place where you can be yourself, explore what matters to you, and figure out what feels right for your life.
