Hello! My name is Elana (she/her), and I'm excited to meet you and learn about where you are on your journey. Whether you're navigating your relationship with yourself, a partner, a family member, or a friend, I am passionate about helping you cultivate a greater sense of safety, connection, and authenticity within yourself and your relationships. All parts of you are welcome, and I strive to create an affirming, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your identity, relationships, and experiences. You might be in a monogamous or non-monogamous relationship, exploring your sexuality or gender, or trying to better understand yourself—I want therapy to be a place where you can show up fully as yourself.
My approach is warm, patient, collaborative, and gently direct. I draw from Internal Family Systems, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), all through a trauma-informed lens. I also draw on my experience as a yoga teacher, valuing the connection between mind and body and incorporating somatic practices when they support your healing goals.
I believe healing happens both inside and outside the therapy room. My hope is to support you in connecting with the people, places, and practices that help you feel grounded and alive—whether that's community, nature, spirituality, creativity, movement, or whatever else feels meaningful to you.
Before becoming a social worker, I spent several years working in nonprofit organizations and higher education. As a clinician, I have experience supporting adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, identity exploration, and life transitions.
