I am a clinical psychologist who works with adolescents and adults, with a particular interest in supporting young adults as they navigate relationships, identity development, and major life transitions. I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy, where my clinical training included work in university counseling centers, forensic settings, and comprehensive psychological assessment with children, adolescents, and adults.
My approach to therapy is grounded in psychodynamic principles and informed by cognitive behavioral and humanistic approaches. I believe that our past experiences can shape how we understand ourselves, navigate relationships, and respond to challenges in the present. Therapy can provide a space to slow down, explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself while working toward meaningful change.
I strive to create an empathic, collaborative, and supportive therapeutic relationship in which you feel comfortable bringing your whole self into the room. Together, we can identify your goals for therapy and explore both the immediate concerns bringing you in and the deeper patterns that may be contributing to them.
My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, relational concerns, identity development, adjustment and life transitions, and personality-related concerns. I have a particular interest in working with emerging adults and in helping clients develop a greater sense of self-understanding, agency, and connection in their relationships and daily lives.
