Lisa is a post-masters fellow working primarily out of the Ferndale office and providing a telehealth option. Lisa has a degree in mental health counseling and has a wide range of experience working with people of diverse backgrounds.

Lisa is a nationally certified American Sign Language interpreter and has worked in the Deaf/DeafBlind/Hard of Hearing community in Michigan for over 25 years. She is available to provide counseling to Deaf individuals in their native language without the need for an interpreter. 

Other areas of experience include working with folks 18+ in the LGBTQIA2S community, particularly trans folks, people experiencing anxiety, and/or depression, folks newly diagnosed with HIV or living with HIV, and people navigating other life changes and transitions.
