Therapy can be a space for reflection, growth, and support as you navigate anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, burnout, financial stress, or questions about identity and belonging. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. I believe change can emerge through insight, compassion, connection, and making sense of the experiences that continue to shape your life. Our work will be collaborative and grounded in what feels most relevant to you, with room to explore identity (gender, racial, ethnic, etc.), family and relationship patterns, values, coping, and the stories you hold about yourself.
I recognize that well-being is shaped by broader realities including racism, colonialism, poverty, ableism, gendered violence, immigration systems, and other forms of structural injustice. I aim to hold space for these realities while supporting your strengths, agency, accountability, and goals. I aim to practice with an anti-oppressive, anti-racist, anti-patriarchal framework that emphasizes every person’s infinite worth.
I am a bilingual Arabic (Palestinian dialect)- and English-speaking MSW intern. I hold a PhD in ecological community psychology, and am trained in institutional anti-racist transformation, mediation, and conflict resolution. I invite you to begin with a consultation to see if this would be a good fit.
