Training Opportunities

Training Model

FairSky utilizes a Clinician-Advocate model, which focuses on the individual, or individuals, in therapy, as well as the sociocultural context in which they live in. We collaboratively individualize the structure of each trainee’s experience based on their professional stage of development, as well as their previous professional experiences and future professional goals.

Training Goals

The ultimate goal for training-clinicians at FairSky is for each to be prepared to skillfully work in an individual private practice, a professional group practice, or a community-based practice, as well as to begin practice & training in hospital or school-based establishments. We are committed to supporting each practicum student, intern, fellow or fully licensed clinician explore, discover, develop and realize their unique clinical perspectives, and to help each articulate and support that perspective, respectively. Professional trainees at FairSky will also learn how to integrate pro-social advocacy efforts through our diverse learning opportunities. Advocacy skill development areas include interdisciplinary care coordination, community resourcing & connection, and feedback & evaluation integration for client-centered services
